Now, what is the BEST way to incorporate your daily stretches?

EASY! Just add stretches into the events you are already doing daily…

  • Upon Awakening

Take a big stretch first thing in the morning as so as you wake up. Using up as much SPACE as you need, stretching from the fingers all the way to your toes. Not only does it feel good, but you are also alerting the rest of your body that you are awake and ready to tackle your day.

  • During Your Shower

Use the warmth of the water to help lengthen & RELAX your muscles. This is a great time to incorporate some upper body, neck & shoulders stretches and because the heat helps relax the tissue you don’t need to spend a lot of time in a stretch.

  • Brushing Your Teeth

Hopefully we are all brushing our teeth at least twice a day…

In which case that is the perfect opportunity to incorporate some lower body stretches. Using what you have available in your bathroom to help you out, you can use the cabinet or wall to do a calf stretch, or maybe, using the edge of the tub or countertop to STRETCH out the hip flexors or glutes.
